Along the St.Vrain Greenway

My friend and fellow photographer, David P, and I froze our butts the other morning photographing along Longmont’s St Vrain River, along the Greenway.  It was just after sunrise and the temps were hovering around 30 degrees.  Skies were clear, unfortunately, but we were ready to seize whatever opportunities we could.  David likes the big picture and I usually prefer the small.

I noticed there was a thin layer of frost on all the little branches, leaves, weeds, and Colorado’s ever-present teasel.
